It is what it is!

55 school drop outs who became billionaires

Never judge a book by it's cover
some have to read the book,
others have to put the book down,
but they never put their dreams down.

I tell my children, One is needed to build the building,
One is needed to work in the building,
One is needed to design the building,
One is needed to wire the building,
We all have a calling, and a purpose in life,
find yours.

It's All About You!

One of my first jobs was a "work where needed" Dairy Queen employee. I remember over my manager's desk was a sign which stated; "This is not Burger King, you get it my way or you don't get it at all!" Of course no one could read it but the staff members ourselves. I kept that job 3 years, and learned every area of the store, until I went to cosmetology to pursue my hearts desire.

As a stylist; over my managers' area, was a sign which stated, "A satisfied client will tell her best friend, an unhappy client will tell everyone they meet!" Both of these managers were very good at what they did, but their concepts were obviously very distant from each other.

With todays social media, it would go viral how good, or bad your service, or product was. It's very important to remember everything reflects on you. Establish relationships with your clientele, after all you cannot, and will not make it in business without them. Even when the customer isn't right, the customer is always right! Or You will be left!

Would of, should of, could of!

Talent is Talent.
As is;  a Gift a Gift.
It's not the packaging or the price.
It's the thought, and the message,
The delivery, the timing, and the reason.

It's not really whether you can sing, or
if you're great at spoken word.
It's the language not the words;
Dr. Suess impacted lives, and will live
longer than any of his followers.
but who really knows the meaning of his words?

Express yourself anyway, and every way
you can.
Originality is becoming antique, even extinct.
Don't follow the crowd, lead out loud!
Let your story be told,
It's time to be bold.

The treasure to  one's ears, could be garbage to anothers',
Everything is worth writing down!
Every success story began with a map with no roads,
or full of dead ends, and detours,
there are no short cuts!

Take your dreams out of the garage, clean them up, and show them off!!

Where we go By Ghetto E FT Remy Redd And Mr. Coleon

Don't let life slip you by!

Sometimes we get so tied up in what's expected that we forget what's needed. Time, Quality, Experience, Acceptance, Acknowledgment, have to all be perceived and received to be all that you can be!

Sales and Seasons go together like Football on Sunday!

Seasons are changing, so wardrobes will be changing too. Store shelves and isle displays will be following up with their seasonal decor. This is the season stores hire extra employees, and increase inventories for the Christmas layaways, and the Black Friday rushes. Summer clearance, Fall discounts, Winter sales! It's a good thing to keep up with the sales. If you're on a budget, and we all should be, a couponer, or come from a big family; then thinking "savings" is nothing new.
Denim, lingerie, and garden, or patio furniture goes on clearance this month. Great time to stock up on jeans for the kids one size larger, anniversary or shower gifts, naughty/ or secret santa items. Party supplies for those bbq seasons can be put up until next year, father's day, and birthday gifts can be stored away for that special someone.

What to Buy When Every Month of the Year

o my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
What’s going on sale this month? What items should I buy now, and what should
I put off purchasing for a while? How do I know what to buy when?
Answering those questions means I need to fill you in on Seasonal Sales Cycles. If you
have been coupling for a while, you have already noticed that particular items seem
to be a better deal at certain times of the year. This is because retailers are competing
for your dollars. They know what potential customers are looking for throughout the
year, and in order to woo you into their place of business, they will offer you the best
deals on your greatest needs. It is important to know what to buy when, so that you
can save even more money.

What is a Sales Cycle?

The rotation of featured sale prices is called a sales cycle, and knowing how it works
will help you with your budgeting and planning. Discounted prices go hand in hand
with what retailers consider to be people’s greatest needs during different times of
the year. When you know what to buy when, you have a definite advantage in your
purchasing power. Below you’ll find links to the posts for each month’s sales cycle,
letting you know what’s on sale so you can plan accordingly. Remember, you never
want to pay full price for anything!

What is a limited partnership (LP)?

What is a limited partnership (LP)?

In one of my first classes at Full Sail I had an assignment to look up words that had to do with business. I subscribed to BusinessDictionary.com at the time. The sight sends "the word of the day to my email."

If you have any questions you do not understand pertaining to business, management or marketing, they provide a platform to ask your questions. I've really utilized their tips and find everything I read on this sight very informative. Today's article states the pros and cons of a limited partnership. There's so much I wish I knew before I opened my first business that I'll be sure to know this time around.

Will your startup avoid disaster when going after a new market?

Always be aware of your atmosphere, your clientele, and your investment. I had to share this, we always have to think about the whole picture. My dad used to say "do it right the first time, or you'll have to do it again...in today's world it costs a pretty penny if your plan is not thought out thoroughly.

Four questions to answer before attacking a new market:

1. Who makes the decision to buy the product?
2. How do the decision makers choose?
3. How well does your product perform in relation to competitors on those criteria?
4. What capabilities does your company have that will enable it to keep winning as customer needs change and new technologies emerge?

Were all your eggs in one basket?

The saying goes "Don't put all your eggs in one basket!" Nothing is promised not even tomorrow, so that means; you need to keep your options open, and prepare for the worst, or the best. If your dream was to be a princess and live in a castle...remember someone has to keep the castle up, so either you're learning to maintain the castle, or learning how to bring enough income in to hire someone else to maintain the castle! You can not wear the same dress night and day, Rumpelstilstkin needs her hair done sometime. Limiting yourself to one dream, limits yourself to other things...wants, needs, desires. Don't put all your hope in one dream, don not invest everything you have into one goal.

Bengochea, J. (n.d.). What is the meaning of 'Don't put all your eggs in one basket'?

From labor to labor!

Anything you put your mind to, you will be able to do. Fields that are worked will never be fruitless, unless the ground is contaminated, or lacking a nutrient. Treat your life the same way. If you feel you haven't achieved any goal, or dream...find out what it is that's contaminating your soil, or better yet,  find out what you need to do to reap the harvest you're desiring to see.  You are never too young, and never too old, there are no disabilities. The only one stopping you is you.
